Thermador Refrigerator Repair – Water Leaking Inside

We recently repaired a Thermador refrigerator with a water leak inside the unit. The customer noticed water accumulating around the drain/heating pan area.

After a complete inspection, we found that the drain line was clogged, preventing defrost water from draining properly. As the blockage became worse, water began accumulating inside the refrigerator.

To properly access and repair the drainage system, we removed the evaporator coil and defrost heater cover. The clogged drain line was then thoroughly cleaned and flushed to restore proper water flow.

While servicing the refrigerator, we also cleaned the condenser coil located underneath the unit. A dirty condenser can restrict airflow, reduce cooling efficiency, and make the refrigeration system work harder than necessary.

After reassembly, the refrigerator was tested to confirm proper drainage and normal operation. The water leak was eliminated, and the Thermador refrigerator is now working properly again.
