Sub-Zero Refrigerator Ice Maker Repair – OEM Replacement Solution

We recently completed a repair on a Sub-Zero refrigerator where the ice maker stopped working a few days prior to service. The customer noticed the ice maker symbol and service light flashing, along with error codes on the display.

Problem:

  • Ice maker not producing ice

  • Ice maker and service indicators flashing

  • Error codes displayed

  • Manual reset did not resolve the issue

After proper diagnostics, we determined the ice maker assembly had failed. A manual reset temporarily cleared the display, but the ice production did not resume.

Solution:

We replaced the OEM ice maker assembly, and shortly after installation, the customer began seeing fresh ice again.
